Marti Barnewolt

Associate Broker, GRI, Owner Internal Dynamics School of Real Estate
Marti began her real estate career in Prescott in 1984 with Merrill Lynch. In October of ‘93, she met and married Clift, and then moved to Scottsdale in October 1994.

Accomplishments she is most proud of:
- She served the Prescott Area Association in various positions of leadership and served on AAR committees on behalf of Prescott.
- Marti served multiple times as the State President of the REALTOR®-LAND INSTITUTE.
- She served as committee chair for Prescott Affordable Housing, spear-heading funding for Habitat for Humanity resulting in the purchase of 6 residential lots.
- 9 years into her career, she co-founded/owned a highly successful real estate company in Prescott capturing 33% of the market share in its first 12 months.
- Served on SAAR’s Hutch Fund Committee and as Director.
- Due to her passion for education for the working agent, Marti was VP of Operations and Director of Curriculum for the Arizona School of Real Estate 2010 to 2014.
- As a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), Marti has served the AZ juvenile court system as the children’s voice in cases deciding healthcare, foster care and custody situations.
- As a one-time project leader of Saguaro High School “Project Graduation”, she rallied parents and business leaders to fund, plan and present a chaperoned event that replaced private high-risk parties.
Marti loves real estate, education, golf and travel. She and her husband live in Scottsdale; they are a blended family (two children each) and one grandson.
Kevin Newell

Sales Executive, First American Title – Homebuilder Services
Kevin has been involved in real estate for over 35 years and has worked in new home sales, resale homes, land entitlements and the title industry. His position within First American Title’s Homebuilder Services Division in Phoenix and Las Vegas, requires high energy and dedication to service. Kevin is responsible for helping builder clients with their sales, marketing and training. His goal is to provide them with credible, relevant and trending information, as well as resources that help them achieve increased market share and higher sales volume.

Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife of 36 years, Laurel, and their two dogs. He also enjoys fishing, traveling, college sports and spending time with his family.
Cynthia Smitherman

Owner/Designated Broker, Emage Fine Properties L.L.C., GRI, ABR
Cynthia began her career in real estate in 1996 and through hard work and dedication she owns her own real estate company and interior decorating business. She is a high energy person and has enjoyed a broad-based career resulting in developed skills as a Relocation Specialist, Property Manager, Residential Sales, light Commercial and Business Brokerage.

Fletcher Wilcox

V.P. of Business Development & Real Estate Analyst, Grand Canyon Title Agency
- Active in the Arizona real estate industry for over 30 years, Fletcher has been a major contributor to the success of others. Fletcher was born in Yuma, Arizona and raised in Phoenix. He received a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Arts degree from Arizona State University. In 1985 he obtained an Arizona real estate license.
- Fletcher is the founder of The Wilcox Report. His market analysis on residential real estate in Greater Phoenix has been mentioned in publications such as the Wall Street Journal, MarketWatch, Bloomberg News, HousingWire.com, National Mortgage News, the Arizona Republic and the Phoenix Business Journal. He has been a guest speaker on both local and national TV and radio.
- He served on one of the three Arizona Association of REALTORS® subcommittees which made recommendations for changes to the 2017 AAR Residential Resale Real Estate Purchase Contract. He teaches renewal hours in contract law and legal issues.
- He is a member of the Arizona State Escrow Association, the Arizona Association of REALTORS®, the Scottsdale Area Association of REALTORS® and is a board member and V.P. of Networking for the Arizona Mortgage Lenders Association. Monthly he speaks at the Heart of Scottsdale REALTOR Marketing Session.
- For eleven years he served as a citizen board member on the Phoenix Police Department’s Disciplinary Review & Use of Force Boards. He is a board member of Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Center. Fletcher started snowboarding in 2006 and claims he is not very good.

Jon Willis

Designated Broker/Willis Property Company
- Jon, a Sixth Generation Arizonan, began his commercial real estate brokerage career in 1999 where he specializes in all forms of commercial real estate including land, office, industrial, retail, self-storage and development.
- He was instrumental in the growth of Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, located in Southeast Gilbert, with the development of the Medical Plaza at Spectrum by brokering roughly 100,000 sf of medical office space on campus as well as an additional 150,000 SF of office space within a mile of the hospital.
- Providing excellence in service he represented the Sorenson Group Management of Salt Lake City in the partial disposition of their $701 million structured portfolio purchased from the FDIC. The portfolio Mr. Willis represented and subsequently sold included the former UTAZ Development office portfolio which totaled over 250,000 SF of grey shell office condos in over a dozen locations. The portfolio also included multiple land parcels, located throughout Metro Phoenix, and over 3 dozen improved office condo pads.
- Mr. Willis became the youngest instructor at the Arizona School of Real Estate and Business in 2009 where he currently teaches the real estate licensing courses.
- He was awarded Educator of the Year in 2014.
- Jon is the Executive Vice President of Legacy Sports USA, LLC. He and his partners are developing a 400 acre, $260 million, family sports and entertainment park in the Phoenix Metro Area. Once complete it will be the largest sports park in the United States and will have the largest variety of sports in the world. Jon was instrumental in securing the funding for the development.
- Jon has a history of giving back to the industry proven by his involvement with educating up and coming real estate licensees. He has taught for the Arizona School of Real Estate & Business and most recently transferred to the Internal Dynamics School of Real Estate expanding his portfolio of educational offerings.
- Mr. Willis currently lives in Mesa with his wife and three children.

Julie Goldammer

- A self-proclaimed nerd, Julie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Carroll University in Wisconsin and worked as a Programming Engineer for the HVAC division of a large controls company before the birth of Internet.
- She moved to Cancun, Mexico and spent 10 years working in the timeshare industry in Sales, implementing the first online purchase reservation system, while collaborating with legal counsel to register the project with the Department of Real Estate in over 37 U.S. states.
- She moved to Arizona in 2002, working as a Marketing executive for the timeshare division of a large hospitality company where she oversaw production of multiple sites in the deserts of Arizona and Southern California.
- She started her residential Real Estate career in 2012, and has worked for Buyers and Sellers all over the East Valley. Julie thrives on process-driven solutions and enjoys both the sequential and creative aspects of selling real estate. She brings a diverse background in budgeting, finance, sales, marketing, training and risk management to her client interactions, and has a passion for mentoring and training new agents.
- Julie enjoys art, music and travel, and is looking forward to future RV adventures. She currently lives in Cave Creek with her partner, Mike, and their 5 rescued fur babies.
